Isobela was a wonderful host very friendly and welcoming, who has a lovely house in Bakio. My room was fantastic and i couldn't have asked for more.I was there for two nights and it was also convenient for travelling into bilbao as the 3518 bus links bakio to bilbao and runs every hour and takes about 45 minutes so you can have the best of a beach location and the city attractions a short journey away.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The furnishings were quite lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The showers were great with plenty of hot water. The balcony was wonderful and the view was outstanding. We loved the location right on the beach with lots of paved areas for walking and spectacular views of the water and mountains. There is also a cafe directly in front of the apartment building which we enjoyed.

The property is a beautiful old winery in a tranquil location. There is a large kitchen where guests can help themselves to hot and cold drinks and a lovely breakfast area with a terrace. Breakfast was excellent- fresh fruit, yoghurt, local cheese and meat and lots more! The owner is warm and welcoming and the ambience is delightful

    Bakio is a terrific beach and surfing resort, but we didn't go for either of those. We went because it's close to Gaztelugatxe and there are some very good restaurants nearby. And a txakoli museum! Check it out!

    The accommodation was bright and stylish, and fully wheelchair accessible. It is well located with nearby free parking. The proprietors were thoughtful and helpful & they ensured everything was in place to guarantee we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Bakio is a lovely seaside town, surrounded by stunning countryside, with great places to eat & great civic amenities. This was an ideal base for exploring the Basque Country.

    Hotel was in a great location, right on the beach. The inside of the hotel was decorated exceptionally, everything felt brand new with outstanding taste and attention to detail. Our room was huge with a beautiful terrace with lots of plants and garden furniture.
