A lovely property to stay at and we would highly recommend it. The host was a lovely lady and would do anything to help. We felt very comfortable staying here and would definately stay again. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed and the wood burner made it a very cosy house.

The place is amazing. Nature lovers will be charmed. We stayed only for one night but would like to spend more time in that countryside idyll. There is everything you need and the place is clean. Host was super nice, shared clear instructions. No problem with finding the place with google maps. The rode was bit bubpy at the end, but good condition and drivable with any size of car - no worries about that. Suggest the place for 100%

Location excellent for us. We were walking the Camino Mozarabe and took a rest day in Alcala. Great to have a spacious, comfortable apartment with washing machine close to the main road, camino and also a park which makes its way up to the incredible castle. Apartment was warm and well equipped. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hosts arrived promptly with key and also provided a second set of keys which is important as we were a friend group who were doing independent activities during the day.

We had the most incredible stay at Steve and Launa’s beautiful apartment in Alcaudete. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us like family—warm, generous, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond in every way, even picking us up and dropping us off at the bus, which made our trip so much smoother. The apartment itself is a dream—newly renovated with charming traditional Spanish tiles that give it so much character. It’s both stylish and comfortable, with every detail carefully considered. From the TV, books, maps and file of recommendations to the air conditioning, first aid kit and washing machine, they have thought of everything you need. The courtyard is absolutely lovely, with an indoor BBQ area perfect for relaxing. Steve and Launa had stocked the place with thoughtful touches—water, tea, coffee, biscuits, and muffins—everything you could need to feel at home right away. The view of the castle and town from the front of the apartment is absolutely breathtaking. They also gave us fantastic local recommendations and advice that helped us make the most of our stay. They are two of the kindest people that you will ever meet. Staying here felt less like booking accommodation and more like visiting friends. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back. Thank you, Steve and Launa, for an unforgettable experience!

    We loved the place in the middle of the village. Two bar restaurants are at each end . We met Antonio, the lower restaurant owner who was such a joyful person.We like the ambiance there with the very sympathetic Spanish people. We find every body so helpful.
