Carli and Maria made us really welcome at their fabulous chalet. It was a perfect place for 7 of us walking the Camino, with all the facilities we needed to recharge, and it can easilyaccommodate 10. The location is very peaceful, a 2km walk from Itziar, but Carli offered to pick us up had we needed. We bought provisions in town and cooked our own meal, perfect, with everything we needed in the kitchen. Stunning views in a tranquil setting, the name says it all!

Zumaia is a famous place for wild nature and relatively high waves. The hotel is located on on of the most beautiful places, the beach is 2 walking minutes away. The view from the room windows is dierctly to the ocean and hils located near by. The city is small (achievable in around 5-7 minutes by walking). If you would like to be alone in the nature, in 10 minutes you will find peacefull place around. It is a paradise to those who like wild nature and small beaches. The water boiler was inside the room (tee and coffee available as well), additional bonus point. The hotel is also very flexible: if you do not need havy breakfest, you could take a very good coffee from the bar and some cake. You also reserve dinner at the hotel (which is tasty and inexpensive) . If you travelling by car, there is free private parking space at the hotel (another very big plus)

Nice town square for having a coffee / beer / food after a tough days walking. Beach a few mins walk away and ideal for a swim. Train station right in centre of town and we used a taxi to ferry us to and from our hotel.

Enjoyed the friendly, relaxed and informal family feel in a very rural setting which was within easy reach of Deba by car and the main roads out. We wanted to spend the day on the beach to relax and unwind after so much travelling but didn't have any towels, having asked them if we could borrow a couple they were happy to oblige. Nice, simple but very healthy breakfast. Rooms were very clean with lovely comfortable beds. Took a fabulous photo of the sun coming up over the hills and above the clouds at 6.30am.

The hotel is new and really nice, every piece of furniture looks really tasteful and new. We have also enjoyed the massage. The hotel is situated at the beach and is perfect to be close to the sea.

The room was OK, shower was great location was ok in relation to Camino. the hotel restaurant was closed on Monday and only place to eat was a bar nearby .. which was not good.
