    Lovely fruit shop on the corner of the square, good enough parking, lots of cafes and desserts, nice weekly night market. It’s very quick and easy to get to Fornells, the fishing village with all the fresh fish restaurants.

    Es Mercadel was a quiet area and the villa was very private- We liked this. Close by there was a small supermarket and a cafe which was good for breakfasts and drinks. Es Mercadel was also convenient to the larger area Arenal d'en castell. A short walk we were there with its lovely beach, bars and restaurants.

    A clean well equipped villa in a quiet location in what seemed to be a residential area only 3-4 mins walk from the beach and local facilites including a supermarket. The beach is large and clean and feels very safe with young families and older folk. All considerate. The locals are friendly and helpful. The food and wine are cheap. Fish dishes excel. Avoid the snack bar sitting on its own at one end of the beach - service verges on hostile and the octopus we got for 20 Euros was literally 2 mouthfuls - most unpleasant experience. But otherwise can't fault the restaurants. Not a location for those wanting action and nightlife.

    Lovely looking building just a short walk from the centre of town. We arrived by bicycle and the hotel were able to securely store them in a garage. Nice cool room. Swimming pool, although this was in the shade by the time we arrived, Es Mercadal had a food/craft festival on the day we arrived, which was fun to look around. We had a great meal at the windmill resturant called Moli d'es Raco Generous breakfast, great staff on reception.

    The hotel is very beautiful, decorated with great taste. Which makes you feel good there. The pool is also nice. In addition, Léon contributes greatly to ensuring that the stay goes wonderfully.     Excellent location in the centre of Es mercadal with shops and cafes nearby. It can get abit nousy at night so light sleepers beware. Easy parking within a few minute walk if you hire a car. Easy to contact reception if any issues arise.
