All is modern, clean and very convenient. Full-fledged and separate hairdryer in the bathroom, automatic conditioning system, nice view from the balcony, a cattle with tea and coffee in the room, nice sheets and cozy bedroom. Kind and helpful staff, including girls at the restaurant. Special thanks to Sylvia!) and here is even a little gym at the open air. Thanks to all Silken Platja de Aro team!

We only stayed for one night but everything was as we wanted it to be. The staff was very kind and helpfull, especially Ismael. The ocean view was amazing and the parking was fine. Nice beach. We didnt use the pool or the breakfast but it looked nice.

Staff were exceptional. Warm and friendly and nothing was a problem. 5 star rating. Loved the efforts made by the hotel to reduce its carbon footprint by supplying free glass bottles of chilled water, giving guests options to have fresh linen daily or not and buffet breakfast had very little plastic packaging.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bell Respos which is sister concern Hotel Bulevard in Costa Brava. The location was perfect, the room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It is a beautiful hotel with great location with nice pool area and right next to the beach. Breakfast and dinner was tasty, not boring for a 1 week stay. Although I did not travel with small kids, I noticed that very colorful programs were provided for kids by the animators. Hotel was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay (iron, hair dryer, scale to measure our suitcases, etc), and hotel staff was polite and helpful. I have noticed that unlike other hotels, the number of hotel staff was available, so guest could get a great service. The hotel room and bathroom size was big enough for our staffs, daily cleaning was accurate.

    Ideal if you like Beaches and Shopping . Restaurant's mainly Tapas dining, Menus not always easy to understand if you don't speak the language . Busy resort , Ideal Centre to stay if wishing to explore the rest of the Costa Brava coastline. Amazing Water Park nearby for more active people.

    Platja d’Aro is very easy to access from the AP7 by road and is not far from Girona. It is modern and has a long sandy tree lined beach and also a very pretty smaller one. It has good shops and a nice variety of ones selling clothes. There are an excellent choice of restaurants with very good quality of food. Lots of places to sit outside enjoying tapas. One of my favourites on the Costa Brava.

    I have had a property near to Platja D'aro for over 20 years...

    I have had a property near to Platja D'aro for over 20 years and make regular visits always taking in Platja D'aro on a few occasions as it has a great choice of restaurants. It has a great water park for kids although it is a little expensive. If you are inclined to visit a little further afield there are many great beaches and small coves and restaurants that make the Costa Brava so exceptional but you do need a car. Taxis are expensive and public transport is almost non-existent

    Loved the area, town was buzzing with lots of shops and restaurants and funfair. Very busy at the weekend, hard to a table in a restaurant without queuing. Not very English oriented, not many English speaking people so be prepared to try to learn a bit of Spanish. Beach at Playa d'aro was coarse but with lots of water sports and restaurants on the promenade. Coast was gorgeous with lots of walks and coves to discover. Easy walk to S'agaro with nice small town and gorgeous sandy beach, lots of water sports.

    Great restaurants with lots of choice, Mexican, Italian etc. The steaks were great. In the Argentinian Steak House. Nice clothes shops. Also shops with normal sea side stuff. The road with shops etc is set back one line from main beach. There is a long main beach and also the small pretty cove we stayed in.

    I come to Platja d’Aro for 40 years.

    I come to Platja d’Aro for 40 years. Lovely for a family with children and now as a couple with dogs. Lovely beach and there is the perfect restaurant Els Tinars in Llagostera. Also here I come for 40 years. Can highly recommend!
