Good areas spread over small towns. If you are there for a week or longer you’ll want to explore them, beaches and restaurants etc. We hired a car and used taxis some evenings. Download the Taxi Booker then TaxiCosta app to book them as it very difficult to get one from a rank. Water sports available in the area, water park was good - not huge but plenty to keep us all happy. We found the resort to be very limited in the sense that if you don't like the beach, there is little or nothing else to do. Good facilities to rent boats and SUP at the marina. My big complaint is the truly appalling public transport, especially the buses. Appalling. Some stops on Google do not exist in reality. Many do not display the buses that supposedly stop there (especially true in Torrevieja). Some buses did not stop at all, even if we were at an official stop. Buses only display their final destination. The main bus station in Torrevieja is a disaster area, chaotic would be charitable.
