We stayed here because we had a ferry to catch the following day it only took us 30minutes to drive from here to Santander. It was a beautiful town, beautiful views, houses and was a very quiet calm atmosphere. We were glad we picked and booked the hotel we stayed in. Suances is a lovely place to stay and explore the surrounding areas. It has everything you need for a vacantion in Northern Spain : beaches, wonderful landscapes, convenient point to get to all touristic atractions. Slight problem with the sofa bed.

We have stayed in the Amita, but thought we would try another hotel this time. We certainly weren't disappointed. Housed in a very modern building, we had a room on the ground floor. Maria, the receptionist, was so helpful and welcoming and we felt at home straight away. I have to say the breakfast was superb - the variety was overwhelming, with lots of home-made goodies, even the components of an English Breakfast! An additional bonus was the La Cala pizzeria just five minutes walk away and serving excellent pizzas at a good price, (our veggie one was 11 euros and was ample to share). Another bonus is that the beach is very close by and we parked in the centre of Suances and enjoyed a pleasant walk and meal there.Guest review byDavidSpain
