    Hamina is a small provincial town with a lot of history.

    Hamina is a small provincial town with a lot of history. We liked it. I think one full day is about right to enjoy it if you are not there for the Hamina Tattoo military music festival. The Hamina market square offered tasty local produce which sadly is not available in the Helsinki metropolitan area supermarkets. The market is is also a nice place to have a snack and a coffee.

    Beautiful small town close to sea, old historical houses, peacefull, excelleng to stay during a bike trip. Good restaurant lunches (buffe) at the old historical Kerho restaurant. Excellent beach and swimming pool.

    I had the most comfortable stay - the apartment is spacious, quiet, very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The sauna was lovely and the terrace as well. Location is perfect in the idyllic historical center of Hamina with all shops and sights nearby. Appreciated little details like many extra towels and coffee & tea - would stay again!

    Located right in the middle of the small garrison town of Hamina which is steeped in history back to the 18th Century. The room was recently renovated, practical like all Finnish hotels, good food, friendly staff, and easy to find.
