The staff here felt like a group of friends. Getting to know them and speaking to them was the best part of our trip. They all helped me do a proposal that me and my fiance will cherish for the rest of our lives and went out of their way to tailor our experience of these islands to something really beautiful. They looked after us and made sure we were always comfortable and happy, which must be a lot of effort. We'd love to go back, and we can't say thank you enough to each one of them for how friendly and caring they were towards us. Even the wild dogs felt like friends, one of the most beautiful and enjoyable experiences of our whole life. this was by far the best accommodation i have ever been to and deserves the best rating i have ever given. the family is so incredibly nice and tries to make your stay as good as possible. you can plan activities with them and all activities are free, whereas at other accommodations in the region you would pay a fortune. we also went to the famous sawa-i-lau caves, which was an experience. the food is incredible. the man knows how to cook and teaches you about fijian cuisine for just 25 dollars a day per person. they also try to show you the culture of the local people, show you nearby villages, schools and churches. an absolute experience! i can recommend this accommodation with heart and joy to everyone. it is not just an accommodation, but a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. vinaka and thank you for the great time!

This is one of the most authentic and beautiful places in all the Yasawa Islands. Vilise and his father took care of us as if we were family. Vilise is a good cook, my girlfriend is celiac and he really took care that everything was perfect for her. They also make delicious ice creams with local fruit from the island. It is a very un-touristy area and they are very nice people. We spent three days there of disconnection and absolute relaxation, without a doubt the most authentic experience with local people you can have in Fiji. We hope to be back soon!

Most welcoming and friendly family and very authentic village! Really good food and a lot, they even cooked vegetarian for me! Nice activities, it never gets boring. The beach is beautiful too. Small room but comfy bed with mosquito net. We would have loved to stay longer. Thank you very much Silo, Bill, Va and Rob for making our stay great! Extra info because it’s one of the first reviews: We got picked up from the ferry by boat (extra cost), very good food provided for 50FJD/day per person, bathroom simple with bucket toilet and shower in a little shelter next door, no supermarket in the village so bring what you need (mosquito repellent and sun screen!). Solar panels provide power through the day and lights, but no fan (was not too hot for us). Covering clothes and no hats/sunglasses while walking the village, beach is fine :) Bringing a gift to the chief of the village is also part of etiquette.

This not a resort, this is more homestays, we stay for 6 night, we are a slow travelers. It was just everything that were needed the Food, reef and people we amazing. We already miss Korovou. If you are looking for a cocktail on a fine resort go to different place, but if you are in Fiji for Fiji stay there.
