United KingdomI came for a wedding at the Shangri La and travelled alone. Gecko resort is perfectly located a short walk to the hotel. They were incredibly welcoming of a female solo traveller and nothing was too much trouble from letting me my room early to letting me keep the room til late for my evening return flight. Clean comfortable rooms - best nights sleep. Evening entertainment and excellent food, drink and cocktails. A little gem if you are touring Fiji make sure you add it to your list.

AustraliaLoved our stay. Shelly the manager adds the extra touch to make the room so beautiful. We took the honeymoon suite with a backyard and an awesome jacuzzi and so lovely to relax in the private garden. The gardens are spectacular, lovely and peaceful to walk around. The staff are so helpful and so pleasant and they keep every part of the resort clean and beautiful to look at. Thank you Shelly and staff of Seatiki resort for making our stay memorable. The breakfast is basic but not bad for a start and you can order eggs and sausages or omelette for a small cost. There is dinner available here and it is delicious. There is a bar too and a nice swimming pool. Just a 3 minute walk away is the Coastal Suites which is open for lunch and dinner. Food is yummy and staff so pleasant. Less than 10 mins walk to the beach. Highly recommend!!!

A beautiful beach spoilt by floating litter and rubbish in the water. I have seen this often around the world and understand that it is a side effect of a bigger issue. The Intercontinental Hotel at Natadola Beach is easily the best hotel on the mainland of Fiji. The reason why is because most mainland hotels do not have sandy beaches and certainly few have coral that you can snorkel on and those hotels are dependent on pools and facilities to attract people to them over the hotels on outer islands. If you are going to Fiji for a short visit and don't have time to move about to experience it or you want to keep the costs down (the outer islands are expensive) then goto the Intercontinental. Keep away from Denarau(which sucks). the Intercontinental at Natadola beach gives you a lot. We tried all the hotels. Best dish was at Navo and it was the crab linguini. The beach is worth the trip but Yatule isn’t! $200 round trip from Nadi - plus overpriced accommodation - way better options available - choose wisely. Close to the golf course if you can’t afford the Intercontinental next door. Okay to eat here luckily - no other options! We absolutely enjoyed our stay there, the staff were so friendly and helpful and that alone made the experience so much more magical, they provided activities everyday along with cultural events and things even the kiddos could enjoy. We stayed in the beachfront bure and it was quite spacious for myself and three children, it was about a ten step space to the actual beach and also there were hammocks everywhere so you could just relax and read a good book if you didn’t want to sit at the beach. What a magical place I cannot wait to come back and create more memories. I enjoyed the snorkelling activity, kayaking, watching the staff play volleyball, the fire-dance was an experience in itself, the kids loved the crab racing because it was different and very simple but yet so much fun.
