Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria.
Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria. Not as busy as Nice or Cannes which is literally a stones throw away, but takes 30 minutes or more by car due to traffic. Antibes is between the two. Even though we had a car, it was much easier, and cheaper, to take the bus and train to destinations around the French RIveria. Antibes has a great Old Towne which we stayed in, with the Ramparts/boardwalk/Promonade a highlight. The beach by the port was a delight.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 8.0

Antibes is a lovely town with a lot to explore. The small narrow streets in the old town are wonderful and you never know what’s around the next corner. The owner, Luigi, is very friendly and helpful, he welcomed us nicely, and explained to us everything about the apartment, Antibes and the region.
