    It is an extension of Fontainebleau which is a popular tourist destination. Avon is cheaper to stay in to visit Fontainebleau. Fontainebleau Forest is truly amazing. I just loved it and wish I had more time to spend exploring it. Fontainebleau Chateau is, of course, what everyone is there for.

    It’s a beautiful place that deserves a whole proper trip to be visited. I was on my way to another destination and just stopped by for a night, but surprisingly I found out this is a precious vibrant town with amazing nature and architecture. Definitely in my list for a next trip!

    The apartment is in a lovely old building with a gravel courtyard. The Wi-Fi is exceptionally good and the small kitchen had everything we needed to eat our picnic. It is a charming little studio flat in a convenient location not far from Avon station. Although we did not meet the hosts they were friendly and helpful with messages and they care about their property and their guests.
