It's not the most historically picturesque of the many competing seaside locations in the south of France but that probably makes it a little less crowded and it is very pleasant with attractive bays offering a lively port, pretty beaches and places to explore plus all the usual shopping and eating facilities. It is a great place if you want a relaxing, seaside holiday. Very good food, lots of beautiful beaches, lovely boutiques and fun water sports. Easy access to similar villages such as Le Castellet, Cassis and Sanary sur mer which are worth a visit. Very clean place and good street signage. There are lovely beaches, it has a lively nightlife and good selection of stalls at the evening market. There are a wide variety of popular restaurants. The apartment is located right near the beach and many restaurants. And is a short walk to the other Bandol beaches. The apartment had everything we needed, including kitchen facilities and even a beach umbrella. The balcony was the highlight, it overlooked the ocean and the restaurants below and was a great place to relax and watch what was going on below.
