    Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors...

    Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors alike! The only downside was a lack of a coffee shop/bakery opened during our stay (October!) However our main reason for visiting was to show kids where their dad grew up and we couldn’t wish for a better long weekend! Highly recommend it! Bonus points for Heated Pool in our property we stayed and fantastic running trails!

    Comfy bed, well-equipped apartment, exceptionally clean, great location. Highly recommended. Great for visiting Quimper and Concarneau as well as the rest of South Finistere. Good local restaurants within easy walking distance, as is the beautiful beach.

    Great beach and safe bathing, especially for children. Beautiful civic gardens and plantings. Otherwise boring. Very few 3* plus restaurants, remaining were tourist "reas spoons" all with the same offers. Moules, steak, fish, standard French offerings. One outstanding cafe on the edge of the market square, called Concept 18. Weekly market was excellent. Boat trips and water related activities over priced by Spanish comparison. Planned walks and bicycles available. Many empty decaying properties, including hotels.

    Warm welcome including cake - says it all :-) Officially, the apartment is rated one star. It was much better prepped and comfortable than the two or three star hotels on my trip. I would definitely recommend it!

    Lovely host, easy to collect keys, etc. Nice rural location, easy to get to nature reserve, or drive into Benodet. Full of character, absolutely charming and rustic. Very unusual and worth a visit.
