    A beautiful charming town, all centres around cognac making, we arrived on a Friday and found the whole town very quiet, we were later informed that the majority of inhabitants working in Cognac would be in summer holidays and only tourists remain, so if in peak season looking for a little peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Lovely promenade on the river, charming brasseries and bars in the old town and on the Quai. We really liked it.

    Loved everything about Cognac.

    Loved everything about Cognac. Historical city, many old buildings to see. The riverside made a lovely walk, and had superb restaurants.If you like to drink cognac, this is the place to visit as several cognac producers have a base here, and are open to visitors.Everyone was very friendly and a lot of people there spoke English, which helped! Unfortunately it isn’t easy to get to if you’re not driving yourself, but we caught a train from La Rochelle, which was easy.

    Wonderful city!

    Wonderful city! Lots to see and do plenty of bars and restaurants! Thoroughly recommend a couple of nights there! Make sure you book at La Scala gorgeous Italiana restaurant! Visit one of the many Distilleries we visited Chateau Cognac it was amazing!

    Struggled with help from locals, especially on where to find...

    Struggled with help from locals, especially on where to find breakfast. One bakery which is open all day by the roundabout was the only place to find food a lot of the time. Luckily the staff in that bakery were very friendly…Not so much anywhere else.

    Great place to visit, loads of cognac houses to visit with-in close proximity to the town. We chose to visit Remy Martin as it was 300 year anniversary, great tour, lovely tasting. We especially loved (as gin drinkers) the Citadelle distillery, it's fabulous, we had great tour and wonderful tasting session (maybe get a taxi there!!!) it's about 20mins drive outside Cognac, but worth it. Some nice bars and restaurants, but for the good reataurants by the river I would suggest booking.

    Beautiful property well situated in the centre of Cognac town. The guesthouse was very clean, comfortable and perfect for a weekend stay. The breakfast was lovely served outside in the garden, and the pool was nice to relax. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet and charming stay in Cognac.

    It was a beautifully curated home with both traditional and contemporary touches. It was very spacious and more like staying in a five star hotel. It was very well located for both La Flo Velo as well as the centre of Cognac.

    A very nice retreat away from the bustling, more touristy destinations. The property is close to restaurants and shops and walking distance from Chateaux de Cognac. The terrace was the cherry on top! Thank you!
