Dinard is a lovely, clean and friendly town that is very 'chilled' - it puts our UK seaside resorts to absolute shame. Perhaps because there were few 'brits' there - certainly not many 'tubs & tats' There are loads of good shops and restaurants and the locals are really welcoming. The view from this elegant apartment is simply stunning! The position is great and having safe, free parking made such a difference - we didn't use the car all weekend and really loved the short boat trip over to St Malo. The building (former Hotel Royal) is in need of significant renovation. Work is underway which could make things noisy during the week but Friday-Monday was perfect.Guest review byJane - 8.0

Dinard is a great location for a family beach holiday but...
Dinard is a great location for a family beach holiday but also for visiting the numerous sites of interests in that region of Brittany and Normandy. Whilst there, we visited St Malo, Le Mont St Michel, Dinan, Fort La Latte and Le Val-Andre amongst many others. Lots of history but also countryside. Great boat trips from Dinard to lots of places. There is a beach on the doorstep, as well as an ocean pool. The rooms are very comfortable and stylishly kitted out - an antidote to corporate, chain hotels. We loved the huge bed in our room, the sitting area and the Nespresso coffee machine! The staff were very helpful and friendly. We particularly appreciated the good quality of the furniture and the materials they used. The apartment was on 2 floors and had a very thoughtful layout.
