Lovely hotel warm and friendly staff and great resturant. The town is a great place to walk around and it’s a perfect stop over returning to Uk. A lovely historic town.
A lovely historic town. We had dinner at the Pizza Restaurant next to the Castle which was really lovely and very popular. It was nothing fancy just pizzas, pasta and reasonably prized wine. There are a few patisserie shops with amazing cakes we’ll worth giving them a try. There was a market on the morning that we left (Saturday) with an abundance of local produce, beautifully arranged and very appealing. As we arrived late and left early i couldn't really comment...
As we arrived late and left early i couldn't really comment on Dourdan centre. There was a market being set up the morning we left and the castle at the top looked like it would've been worth a visit. Overall i think Dourdan is a busy little place and maybe go back one day for a more in depth look around.
