    It’s a charming french village.

    It’s a charming french village. The best croissant aux amandes, best croq monsieur (a french version of ham and cheese sandwich), best ice cream. I have tried the lavande and the framboise flavors. Excellent! And a bonus surprise: I discovered a barista shop, for coffee lovers! The best double expresso I ever had! I am from Brazil and I drink coffee everyday. The best of the best was in Forcalquier. A hidden gem!

    Go to the market which is extensive on Monday mornings.

    Go to the market which is extensive on Monday mornings. The Citadelle is worth the climb, and the old town is full of history and bars and shops, and locals who are keen to engage with visitors. The local villages are all worth a look too.

    The added foto is taken from the Fratellu terrace with a zoom lens. However it gives you an idea of the scenery of the terrace from Fatellu. We can recommend a 100% this address for a shorter or longer stay in the area. Krist

    The location is everything! It is situated right in the center of Forcalquier, in the old town. I had a room with a view on the courtyard it was beautiful. The studio was very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The owner was great giving precise information by text message. Great market near by on a Monday!

    The hotel is run by a friendly French couple that offers 3 rooms in a very residential area close to Forcalquier. The remoteness and calm make it an excellent place to relax and enjoy the view. You can feel that the hosts are making an effort to make you feel welcome and enjoy yourselfs. Highly recommend 😊

    The house in very clean condition and roomy. We needed all rooms to be on one floor due to disability. There were only a few small steps. The house was close to the centre of Forcalquier. Very quiet in the evening and at night. Lots of room for parking.
