Gerardmer is in the beautiful and dense pine forest of the Vosges. It is perfect for hiking, whether it be short and easy around the lake or hard and rocky up the mountain to visit the observation tower. Water falls and isolated villages are abundant. A cot, highchair and changing table were provided, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the garden and it was really useful to be able to wash and dry clothes with ease.
