Morzine is in a constant state of improvement.
Morzine is in a constant state of improvement. Lots of buidings being updated or replaced. Ski lIfts are regularly updated. Good Apres-Ski. Some good restaurants. A great place to say - lots of variety of shops and bars. Always enjoy the cavenbar and some of the food was fabulous. The only thing I would say is the super Morzine lift is amazing but not for beginners and if you can only ski green runs you can't get down to the gondola as there are only blue runs.Guest review byAidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Morzine seems to be the central village of thé Portes du Soleil. The restaurants and shops are plentiful and quite good. The ski area is not too extensive but the options are to branch out east or west for a more extensive experience. I absolutely loved Morzine.
I absolutely loved Morzine. It has quite a bad reputation for pretty poor skiing however, most days we were there it was great and you can get a bus or gondola up to Avoriaz which is super easy and quick! The food was a standout for us, nearly every restaurant we dined in was exceptional and pretty good value. La Chaudanne and La Grange were two highlights for us! It's very easy to get around with the free buses but I wish the C bus was a little more regular and the app could show you which direction the bus was going in. The family who own la petit chalet also own Nicolas ski shop and gave us an excellent discount on skis, poles and helmets. They were so nice and friendly as was everyone else we met in Morzine.
