We loved Nice, it's a really vibrant place and close to Monaco and you just have to visit the medieval town of Eze. It's a place to see once but probably wouldn't go back there. It's quite busy and larger than I imagined. Patisseries are superb especially one or two streets behind the main boulevard and towards the harbour part of town. Nice is a beautiful town, one of the cleanest and friendliest in the area. All the restaurants are great, we stayed in the port area this time and it was a much quieter area but equally as nice as the old town area.
