Large and comfortable room. Everything is still brand new and very clean. Great bed we slept like a log. Perfect for stayover from Spain to Holland. Dogs are allowed. Our dogs loved it too!

Very nice and competent receptionist. We felt welcome, and she was very helpful indeed. Breakfast is very good, and empty trays get filled up immediately. Good size room with comfortable bed.

The hotel was previously (like a LONG time ago) an abbey. So quiet would be an understatement. Also, we requested an extra large room. This was huge so we could really spread out. There is no lift but the staff carried our bags up (when was the last time someone did that for you?). The food at dinner and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Service was great and the staff was friendly. And the hotel is located in an ancient walled city and walking around was really fascinating. The Office of tourism has done a great job with interpretive panels.
