I visited the Bunkhouse with my wife and a 17 years old daughter after driving a whole day throughout applecross mountain road. The outside surrounding area was very quite and the bedroom was very clean with comfortable mattress. The bathroom was shared with other guests however the cleanliness was beyond expectations. One can also make use of a shared kitchen which was fully equipped.

At first I hadn't realized that the hotel is not at Skye but on another island, which requires a ferry . It made me so nervous that I almost booked another hotel. Thank god, nothing else was available. Raasay and the Distillery is one of the best places we ever stayed in! The hotel is beautiful! Charming and warm. The view from our room was breathtaking, the room was modern and beautifully furnished. Staying on an isolated island is an amazing experience. We met a few members of the team and they were all super friendly, welcoming and had a lot of patience for our endless questions about the isle, the habitants, the roads, the sights, etc. I wish we had time to stay longer. Breakfast was very good, tasty and assorted. The restaurant has a huge glass window facing the sea. The scenery is so beautiful that we couldn't care less about the food :-)

Very comfortable rooms, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were fantastic. Very conveniently located close to the main bus stop and the railway station.

Close to the Skye Bridge in Kyleakin village, the Kings Arms dates back to the 1600s and has panoramic views across Kyle of Lochalsh to the mainland.

Locality and views are top. The accomodation itself is cosy and have all the needed equipment. The host was always very helpful. Would definetly go again.

AMAZING best place so far on our trip around Europe. We had to stay another night (didn’t want to leave). Great experience. Eileen and Andrew were wonderful host so accomodating. HIGHLY recommend.
