    Restaurant does not meet the standards expected for a hotel charging these prices. The menu has very limited choices and the quality of the food being served is second rate . The pool changing areas need updating .

    This is quite a big town, very cosmopolitan but with some lovely old buildings in the Market Square, well worth exploring. A new restaurant complex called the Exchange has some excellent eateries and was very busy. There is also a very old pub called the King's Head with an amazing dining room. Quite memorable is the sculpture of David Bowie with accompanying songs. The best way to visit is by bus as the bus station is next to Market Square.

    Loved Aylesbury - beautiful historical buildings against a backdrop of the beautiful waterside theatre. Lovely shops and very helpful staff made it an enjoyable stay, alongside the service at Broad Leys and the waterside theatre where the service (from programme seller to prosecco bar staff was EXCEPTIONAL!)

    The road system in Aylesbury was undergoing significant...

    The road system in Aylesbury was undergoing significant maintenance and the hotel wrote to us before we arrived to advise that the town should be avoided. For this reason we didn’t go into the town but the surrounding countryside was magnificent.

    The bell hotel was comfortable however I left my charger and phone lead in the room when I asked for it to be posted to me , it got complicated I had to send an addressed envelope to them by post I offered to pay if they just post it to me and they ignored me for this reason customer service was a let down . Very simply could have charged me 3 £ and posted it but they ignored my request and kept my charger and lead

    The Chilterns turned out to be a lovely area for a Spring stay, especially if you like woodlands, walking and wild flowers. There were countless good places to eat – we chose The Oak in Aston Clinton, where the food was super, and a takeaway Chinese meal from China Water, which was exceptionally good and not at all expensive. There was plenty to do for non-wakers as well – the museum in Aylesbury is very interesting, for example.

    EVERYTHING! this was my second visit here and it is without doubt my most favourite place to stay with work! I had the same room again which is off the scale luxury - the staff are all amazing - the food and drink is outstanding and it’s a real treat of a visit everytime! I sadly left my November booking to the last minute and had to “slum it” elsewhere - NEVER AGAIN! I just simply won’t stay anywhere else in Aylesbury unless it’s here!

    The host was very easy to contact I requested an early checking in and late checkout. Easy directions for self checkin It was granted. The home was clean with a lively outside space. Less than 10 mins drive from town centre of Aylesbury. A 5 minute walk and local shop and chippy was available. Definitely stay again Thank you

    Room and hotel in general. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also made use of the on site electric charger. There was ample parking and we enjoyed the free entertainment provided in the outside bar/restaurant area. The room was very clean.
