Beautiful, peaceful location. Extremely homely lodge that was very comfortable and spacious. Catherine had provided all the essentials which was truly appreciated when we arrived after a long journey and ferry crossing with dogs. The fenced decking area is great for relaxing outdoors with the dogs and there's a lovely forest walk on the doorstep. Wish we were staying longer

We liked everything! Pat paid attention to every detail down to crystal decanter in the room with sherry. Great shower comfy beds homey friendly and convenient to the ferry. Pat will even dive you there. A definite 15 out of 10 lol

    Ballantrae is a lovely village. The Kings Arms Hotel provides real ale and good meals or the Garden Centre has the Trae Bakes cafe for lunch as well as a gift shop. Scotmid has everything you need if you want to make your own meals.

    Great village and shoreline...very friendly fishermen! .

    Great village and shoreline...very friendly fishermen! . Liked the Storyboards with interesting history of Ballantrae. The garden centre and cafe good....pity no restaurant for meals in the evenings. The Coop well stocked to buy food etc.
