We wanted a quiet break with good amenities which we found in plenty. We walked along the beach before breakfast each morning and even saw a small pod of Dolphins - superb. We visited out of season so it was quiet, not a great selection of eateries in the evenings, although the pubs that were serving had great food. Local Spar didn't sell any alcoholic drinks so you need to go further afield for this. Nice location for touring the rest of the area as well, easy access to the Giants Causeway and other well known places. Clifftop walk experience at Giants Causeway was excellent. Book ferry over to Rathlin island - remote island but nice for a windy walk! I visited Fair Head and Murlough Bay, both of which were short drives from the hotel. Ballycastle beach is a just a walkable distance away too.
