Not much to dislike. Beautiful walks everywhere. Steeped in army history. Lovely views from The Rampards and the river walk so peaceful despite the early morning rain! Good choice of eateries both during the day and at night. Even in November the place was busy so best to try and book a table in advance. I went to Limoncello in the evening. Great walks and massive choice of great places to eat. A walk round the ramparts and Lowry trail were great. Repas 7 great for food and live music on a Saturday evening and the sharing platters at Atelier are a great lunch option. Best to book at both.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Staff are always helpful and friendly. Didnt do refreshment. Note there was an issue with the sink bad drainage, which was sorted and though I opted out of room being serviced, it only took a couple of days and there was always enough milk cartons.
