Bridgnorth is a pretty market town with a funicular lift from the High town to the Low town. The river frontage is very pretty. There are cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is the home to the Severn Valley Railway. Very near to the beautiful Shropshire Hills and various National Trust properties. The Ironbridge Museums are excellent and very near. A very cosy, cute place, with lots of history.

A charming town with plenty of very old buildings. A one way system to deal with a myriad of narrow streets. A delightful Furnicular to take people from High town to Low town. A lovely caravan park 5 miles outside the town, for those who chose not to use the comfy hotels.A wonderful variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely place to visit.
Lovely place to visit. Unfortunately our stay was for a wedding (Davenport House) so didn’t get chance to explore the area but it appears to have many local attractions and places to visit. Will return in future for sure.Guest review byHopes
