It was a nice hotel to stay and get ready for my wedding. The make-up lady was able to come to the room and ensure I was looking great. Had the accessible room which is brilliant. The only thing I would suggest if the internal doors to the rooms and the restaurant were made automatic for disabled users, the ramp to the main door needs to be more accessible as opposed to through the car park and the external door to the hotel to be made automatic and the ramp access improved, please. The hotel is located in a good spot and has a lovely atmosphere, garden and dining area. The rooms are not huge but adequate. There is a bar restaurant and a fair amount of car parking spaces and a few on the residential side road if necessary. The breakfast buffet is £11 September 2024. Unfortunately the sauna has not been working on my last two visits which is one of the reasons I choose this hotel so it has been disappointing each time. The gym has been upgraded and is a plus. We were very lucky that we were given one of the refurbished rooms. It was really nice, very comfortable and so quiet which was a surprise given its location. Most of the staff were very friendly. Carvery dinner was nice and very good value. Parking was free for our two day visit which was excellent.
