Everything! It was warm, homely, comfortable and had everything we needed. Zia was a fantastic host and couldn’t do enough for us. My 8yr old son said spending time with the alpacas was the best part of his weekend (and we’d primarily gone to Wales for a nearby popular Santa experience!) I would be stunned if he didn’t add ‘alpaca’ to his Christmas list this year! We will definitely be back.

It was perfect. Lovely people that did their best to allow us to have a pleasent stay. We have been looking for some peace and quiet in a proper welsh country house. The house is as traditional as it can get, but not missing out any of the modern ameneties. You can tell it is well maintained. Also everything was very clean. Slept like rocks in the beds and enjoyed the flat and salon. Just 10 min scenic walk and you end up in Druid Inn Pub thats serves good food (call for table before). I really recommend staying here.

Oak Mead is squirrelled away in the most beautiful setting of Wales. It was so beautifully laid out and decorated and cozy. The shower pressure / temps was one of the best things after being on the roads all day in the icy weather.

    Shocking the beds the house the settee I’m shocked nothing compared to the photos on internet we had to leave early at 6am and just come home as all the family was to tired to even do what we had planned that full day it was absolutely pointless us even staying there I wouldn’t recommend what so ever
