    Chichester is a beautiful city.

Chichester is a beautiful city. Everything is within walking distance. Loads of beautiful walks, shops, buildings and places to eat. The cathedral is stunning, as is the gardens, and the markets were great. It's a very clean and friendly place. Definitely worth a visit.

We used to live in Chichester and it is a lovely city, quite small and everything is based around the clock tower so well laid out. But like everywhere else, a lot of shops have closed and not been replaced or have been replaced with charity shops. We came to go to the theatre which is definitely a special place.

A lovely city with lots to see and do - the cathedral, an excellent museum, Pallant House art gallery, many very well preserved and fine buildings. And nearby the not to be missed Weald and Downland Open Air Museum (location of The Repair Shop), and Knepp Estate

    I love Chichester.

I love Chichester. I go there for the theatre which is one of the best and always good for a summer musical. Apart from that, there is a beautiful cathedral, parks, a city wall for walks, a canal, many restaurants and pubs and great shops, especially the charity shops with exceptional clothes. It is one of my favourite towns.

The city centre is pedestrianised with a very enjoyable relaxed feel. The people in Chichester seem warm, welcoming and friendly. Lots of shops cafes and restaurants, many that are like the Tardis, they go back and back and end in a surprising garden. Pallant House Gallery is an amazing gallery of modern British art. They tell me that they can only show a fraction of their collection at any particular time, so a return visit will definitely be on the cards. Also loved the Cathedral, Chichester Festival Theatre, Georgian architecture and Bishops Garden. Lots of hidden places that I feel I have yet to discover. Relatively undiscovered gem! Look forward to another visit.

Visited Chicester for a couple of hours yesterday.

Visited Chicester for a couple of hours yesterday. Parking was easy and the charges were very responsible. What a beautiful thriving High Street. Lovely mixture of shops. Due to limited time we only managed to walk through the cloisters. The cathedral looked beautiful from outside. Nice walk through Bishops Palace gardens too. Would definitely recommend a visit. Savouries & cakes were purchased from The Cornish Bakery which were delicious. Visited The hole in the Wall pub in the evening with family (13 of us) for an evening meal. The ladies working the bar were lovely as was the chef who was very accommodating with dietary requirements.

For the price i found the room lacking, we had dust and cobwebs the toilet roll holder was broken, the shower was useless, just went from scolding to freezing, the room was small for the price, but the location was very nice, in comparison we stayed at Premier inn Chichester. Bigger room, bigger and nicer bed, shower the worked, and the room was spotless, and was cheaper

We very much enjoyed our short but sweet stay in this cosy, comfortable and well-equipped room in a fantastic location right in the town centre, an easy walk from Chichester Theatre where we were seeing a show. We had to leave very early the following morning but Emma kindly provided us with a very good breakfast before we left which was much appreciated.

Really lovely boutique hotel, not far from Chichester town centre, located on a quiet residential road. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great breakfast - I had a really comfortable stay. Please note this hotel doesn't have a lift so if you're on the top floor like I was, it's a lot of stairs!

Unsmiling Receptionist on arrival did not help the impersonal feel of the hotel. However, all we needed for sightseeing in Chichester with free parking and bus outside door. Restaurant on site, independently run, had cheerful, efficient service.
