Actually, I live in Crewkerne - a very nice place to live, and I recommend it to visitors as its location is excellent for access to both the south coast and the many tourist sites in the area. There is nothing worth visiting at Crewkerne itself in our opinion, but there is a very nice Indian restaurant called the Mint lounge where we ate. Good value and nice and clean. We only stayed there as we were visiting relatives who lived close by. Nice enough town, plenty of shopping places.
Nice enough town, plenty of shopping places. Handy as a base to explore 30 minutes from the coast. Most eating places are closed early in the week so you need to travel out of town unless you like curry or £30+ per head meals. I was nervous about being away from home for so long but the cosy flat was so welcoming and was a home away from home. It had everything I need to cook, Netflix on TV, bathroom was spotless and Rayzta always left me some treats every week which was amazing. Location wise it took me 3 minutes walk to get to the town centre, so convenient. Thank you again for your amazing hospitality.
