I chose the general area as a base for walking hiking. Kettlewell is perfect for that. The Blue Bell Inn came up in my search and seemed to offer everything that I needed. It more than exceeded my expectations offering great accommodation, wonderful food and a great bar with selections of beer and some excellent wine. The atmosphere was superb and I have make a big call out to the staff who made my stay a great experience. I will definitely choose this place again.

Beautiful refurbished cottage. Rooms were fantastic. Spacious and bathroom was large. We also had a bath but the other room did not but was still magnificent. Lynne was a great hostess. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable. Her dog Clara was great too and loved a pat. Lovely little village.

Remote, offering a beautiful and peaceful landscape. Rachel’s craftsmanship and the details of her work throughout the house are impressive. The shower, beds, and water pressure are all perfect, and the kitchen is well equipped. We would definitely come back!

It was a great layout for 8 of us (4 couples in an extended family group). The kitchen dining area was great and the location in a lovely village with many pubs was fantastic for popping out and also it was easy to go for gentle walks from the property. 3 bathroom/shower rooms (one en suite) were lovely. Overall the house had the fees of someone’s holiday home that they let out and so get very welcoming.

An attentive, helpful host who put himself out to accommodate a very early start for us providing a lovely breakfast before we left. We needed for nothing during our stay. Everything had been thought of. We would definitely recommend to others.

Pub is fantastic with a great atmosphere. The food is proper pub grub which was perfect fuel for when out in the hills. Local beers to choose from and staff were really friendly from the first minute I arrived. Also some great walks right from the door.
