Nice quiet area, very good for Sandringham estate where we visited about 3 minutes in the car or about 15 minutes walk, however there was a put in the village called The Three Horseshoes, we went in one Sunday night and it was noisy with drunken locals shouting, we had one drink and left, my advice is keep well away, we stopped in the Feathers much better and quieter, and no drunken locals.

Dersingham is easy to reach from the main road to north Norfolk, the A149, and is a quiet, peaceful village, with easy access to lots of interesting places, such as RSPB Snettisham and Titchwell; Dersingham Bog; Sandringham; Houghton Hall; Castle Rising; King's Lynn, with all its historic buildings; and many more. There is a new, large,well-stocked, and very clean Co-op; the fish and chips from the Tropics Fastfood Takeaway are delicious; and Thaxters Garden Centre has a lovely cafe, shop, and excellent plants. The Granary cafe in nearby Snettisham village does very tasty, generous, lunches and has a fascinating antiques shop above. The charming Castle Rising tearoom is also very good, and the castle is fascinating and well worth a visit.

Dersingham was a perfect base as near to Sandringham and the coast along the Wash and the beautiful big Norfolk beaches of Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea. There were two nice pubs for meals nearby on either side of the house and a beautiful church and a large Coop supermarket. The house was dog friendly and everywhere in North Norfolk seemed to be dog friendly.

A nice village quite near Kings Lynn and the Norfolk coast which has lovely towns/villages and coastal walks. Lots of nice places to eat, but make sure you book ahead. Taxis are very hard to get on a Friday night - so book ahead for this too

Perfect location for a short break, we stayed 3 nights over a weekend. Sandringham House, Castle Rising, Holkham Hall, Langham Glass are all very close and excellent venues. Pubs and restaurants were all good. We travelled to Hunstanton every evening and ate there. Rodworks hampered getting around Dersingham, but overall the village was excellent. Local Co Op was very useful.

We visited Sandringham House so the location for this was perfect, just a few minutes drive away. The rooms were really nice, very spacious and spotlessly clean. Had a lovely dinner in the hotel and breakfast the next morning was also lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was great for our birdwatching trip, and for exploring King's Lynn. RSPB Snettisham and Titchwell are just a few miles away; Dersingham Bog is even closer; Hunstanton cliffs and its sunsets are also very close.

I loved the spacious apparent style room we had as it just gave us extra room as a family of four then being cramped in your traditional family style hotel room.
