The Winnock is the oldest Hotel in the UK. It was full of character and charm. The location was perfect for exploring the Trossachs. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were very clean, with new mattress envelopes on each bed. The Hotel bar had a great dinner and friendly service. The entertainment was really very good, a great way to spend a Friday night in the Scottish countryside! The roaring fireplace was perfect to warm up after a long hike .

Beautiful location in the middle of the National Park. Property is very clean and beautiful. A lot of charming details. Small city nearby (5 minutes drive) has a great choice of restaurants. Room is well equipped, clean and renovated. Breakfast provided was very nice. Definitely recommend to stay here!

I adored every little detail – from the cozy atmosphere to the incredible hot tub, which was absolutely divine. I’m already looking forward to coming back and will definitely plan another trip to Scotland just to stay here longer. The room is warm, light and beautifully decorated. I loved the parquet floors. Hens outside the window were a pleasure to watch. Carolyn made us pizza so we didn't have to drag our tired feet to Drymen! Nice double pillows on the bed. Nice Scottish breakfast.

The guesthouse is in a tranquil location with a nice view over grasslands. The interior design is very new and beautiful / tasteful. You will find anything you might need in this well equipped guesthouse - including the kitchen. The landlord even came by to welcome us in person and asked if we needed anything. We had a very pleasant stay here.

    As a Scot I know Drymen well, also Buchanan Castle Estate where I was a member at the golf club. In 1986 we transferred to Australia due to my employer. I am pleased to say that not much has changed since then

    We liked the friendliest of the people we met, lovely cafe and reasonably priced, A lovely clothes shop offering a variation of clothes, beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks and nice beach a short distance away, ideal for walkers.

    A lovely wee place to visit.

    A lovely wee place to visit. We stayed so we could visit the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies but many come for the outdoor activities. Plenty of coffee shops and bars. The Thursday night Pipe Band is brilliant.

    Ideal location for exploring Loch Lomond and in easy reach of the trossachs! The village has independent shops for food and provisions plus a very good pub! There's a lovely path immediately opposite the Buchanon Arms approx 200m leading to a viewing area with benches to look out on the trossachs!

    Our trip to the lodge was disappointing as we had no heating or hot water and WiFi kept dropping . Looking at other reviews this looks like unresolved issues and had I checked previous reviews would not have booked The owner offer to provide us refund for above but has we have not received

    The location was perfect - right in the middle of the village, within easy walking distance of numerous places to eat. This was by far the best guest house we encountered on our West Highland Way walk - the rooms were beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and every attention to detail. We had a warm welcome on arrival and breakfast at the nearby pub the next morning was delicious. We would love to come back and stay at Braeside again and spend a more leisurely couple of days walking in and around Drymen.

    This Inn is a brilliant stay in a beautiful location with fantastic friendly staff and amazing food in the restaurant, unfortunately I had to cut our stay short due to family illness (The Inn was very understanding), but am looking forward to planning another visit.This is now my goto location for walking in Scotland and I couldn't recommend this Inn highly enough,outstanding!

    The staff had a private dining room prepared for my sons birthday. This gave us the room for my 1 year old granddaughter room to wander about without annoying any guest. Marco the manager, Niamh and the hotel staff from reception to Leisure Centre could do enough to make your stay worthwhile, The hotel is centrally located and has some great places to eat or drink near byh
