Definitely visit the Dyce Carvery they do amazing buffet. I got the large portion my wife got the medium portion. We got there types of meat (beef, pork, turkey) and multiple servings of accompanying dishes. From the hotel we could see aeroplanes landing and taking off although at the weekend, the place is much quieter. We walked around the area into the terminal building and pleasantly surprised how clean it was - Edinburgh please note. This was a great base for attending the Rougue Invitational at P&J. Its within walking distance and easy access to the airport by taxi and to the city by train. We ate in the Dunavon hotel and The Spiders web - both good value food.Guest review bySarah 1

We were attending a concert at TECA nearby, there were buses from the airport but due to the inclement weather they were haphazard but we found the walk easy going and despite the weather it only took about twenty minutes. The room was fine with good heating and plenty of hot water. Although it had two chairs, one of these was for the desk. A small sofa would be a welcome addition.
