We used the property as a starting point to travel to nearby locations by train (train station opposite of the property) or by car with friends (car park next to the train station). Lovely place, plenty to see and do.
Lovely place, plenty to see and do. Close to Winchester and Southampton by road and train. Not to crowded good variety of shops and pubs with plenty of places to eat as well. Bournemouth and Poole aren't so far away either. We visited to see a friend, but most things are either in a short car ride or walking distance. We ate in the bar at the hotel, and the Beefeater along the Bournemouth Road which is reasonable. The M3 junction is along Leigh Road at the top end of town, easily accessible. There is a good bus service and roads are easy to traverse. There is a Wetherspoons opposite the station in Eastleigh, but it does get very busy. Plenty of other places to eat, but booking is advisable, the Harvester on top of the Swan centre is lovely, but definitely needs booking.Guest review byGlennaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The streets are quiet and felt safe. There was no night time disturbance. There is a nice pub nearby serving food and shops a short distance away. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good and it did not feel as though I was having to share the bathroom as the family were upstairs most of the time. The hosts were helpful and welcoming.
