Quirky and in a carriage, unique experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was good. Mobile signal on O2 and Vodafone working even at 4G! and much much better than reviews suggest.

Secluded location with a few pubs and restaurants within easy driving reach. We decided to try one that Suzie mentioned and had a lovely meal at The White Lion. Appreciated the welcome we had (from the cats too) to run through everything, esp operating the hot tub. The cabin is very comfortable with great amenities and some thoughtful touches, especially the plastic glasses for hot tub use! Lovely breakfast, plentiful fruit, juice, pastries and great choice of tea and coffee. We greatly enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed more than one night, thank you.

    The village is very rural and you almost definitely need a car to get around, but there are plenty of pubs both in the village and in the next town, Pullborough. (the one just down the road required a reservation for dinner). We also went to have a look around Petworth - strongly recommend!

    It's a dated very damp ship tip. garden is a small hike.thin curtains and road noise. Go somewhere else . Bedroom is uninhabitable as is bathroom , fan doesn't work , stand in grey water as it doesn't drain

    The hotel has been recently refurbished and it has been done beautifully with a great attention to detail. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable indeed, the toiletries were from Verden and smelt gorgeous. There are lovely little touches everywhere to make your stay more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

    Little Cottage is so sweet, the views are heavenly and there's an enormous garden. It's quiet and peaceful in a very beautiful area, we heard a cuckoo. I can recommend Fittleworth Community shop. The cottage is tiny but well appointed.

    A clever mix of village pub and classy hotel, the atmosphere was friendly and efficient. Excellent pub bar complemented by a top class restaurant. Breakfast across the terrace and into the barn was another treat.
