An utterly lovely, comfortable place to stay... The staff are so friendly and helpful making the stay very special. The food was beautifully prepared, presented (especially the seafood platter!) and served. My stay was an absolute pleasure and I'm already looking forward to staying there again during my next visit.

Very clean rooms that were really warm...just what was needed when it was below freezing outside. Great location and good views. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Stornoway.

I spent two nights at the Crown Inn in Stornoway with my brother and his family and we had a very pleasant stay! The rooms were comfortable and very cleaned, very generous breakfast, and great position, in the town centre and just five minutes walk from the ferry terminal. If you've got a car there is a free parking space just in front of the building. The first night we decided to have dinner at the Crown Inn restaurant and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to book a table for dinner the following night as the food was great and there was also a beautiful view on the seaside and on the castle. The staff has been kind and helpful! If I ever have the chance to visit the isle again, and I really hope I will, I will have no doubts and book at the Crown Inn again. The Isle of Harris and Lewis is astonishing, really miss it!

Olive was an amazing host we we are grateful that we found her B&B and met her . We spent 2 nights with her and she was able to make dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant before we arrived . The Breakfast was excellent with many choices and the best bowl of fruit salad I have ever had . The room was very comfortable and larger than most you will find in someones home . Olive is a gem and we highly recommend her place .
