Nestled in a small village enroute to our trip north, it was a perfect place to stop. Bernard and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and modern. Bernard gave us tips on how to use the coffee machine and charge our phones. Also supplied us with a number to contact if we had any questions! Breakfast was delish and everything we needed. Would definitely stay again AND again!

The Old Pheasant is very typical of a coach inn, with very modern fixture and fittings. The food (dinner) was excellent and the continental breakfast was very good. The staff were very tentative and extremely useful and helpful, nothing phased them out and nothing was a problem for them. We will definitely go back, when we are traveling in this area.

Glaston is a very small though quite attractive village in Leicestershire. We had planned on having a walk around nearby Rutland .water but we had not planned on temperatures of 30C. By our standards, it was too crowded and hot and there was a lot of noise from radios and also a lot of rubbish left on the grass. Horrible!
