Great place and so friendly host. Our room was large and wonderful with very modern and fancy bathroom. We had to leave early, and we got really good early-morning breakfast in our room. Surroundings is very peaceful. Best place ever!

Loved everything about our stay. The breakfast was perfect -- a nice variety of options and at a reasonable time. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially as the communications regarding the reservation were not clear or complete with regard to the lock box codes. Recently renovated with great attention to details in Scottish style. Very clean, but dog friendly. Old cow shed made into their beautiful Indian restaurant (Emily’s byre). Nice upstairs room in a Victorian style with all the amenities of a 5* accommodation.

Excellent customer service. The staff were superb. Made us felt really welcome. One of the gentleman cleaning staff took the effort to look for us around the hotel area after we checked out when he discovered we may have left personal belongings behind. We would like to commend him.
