Absolutely amazing, staff were really friendly and accommodating, nothing too much trouble. The spa area is gorgeous. It was for a special occasion and they left a card and a treat in the bedroom. Cocktails were amazing too! Will be back, loved it.

Stunning part of the UK with something for everyone, whether it be history, nature, good food and/or amenities. I hiked the full length of the hills along every ridge from End Hill and returned via the woods. In all it was 11.5 miles from and back to my accommodation. There are a couple of places with WC facilities and pit-stops. Breathtaking views and beautiful scenery. I had the pleasure of witnessing sheep-shearing by local friendly farmers who assisted me on my route. The previous day I did a circular around British Camp Iron Age Fort. Good parking and another beautiful walk.

Great Malvern is a charming town in a marvellous setting (below the Malvern Hills). Also, being on the national rail network, it is a convenient base from which to visit neighbouring towns such as Hereford, Ledbury and Birmingham.

It's called the Malvern Hills & the main street is steep.

It's called the Malvern Hills & the main street is steep. However with so many places to eat, interesting shops, an impressive theatre & beautiful scenery, it's a national treasure. Walking the hills is quite spiritual, and something everyone should experience. Also it boasts two main line stations if you can tear yourself away.

Malvern has a fantastic park, nice restaurants and we really enjoyed the craft beer bar - Weavers. The theatre and park are great but the cafe there is expensice. I suggest buying a picnic from Waitrose and eating it in the park - the play area in the park is all wood adventures. Another plus is the Foley Arms - best Wetherspoons in the world, honest. Best kept beer cellar though is the Great Malvern Hotel.

A lovely warm welcome - all explained clearly to us - had already parked the car. We were leaving really early the next day so Sophie arranged for us to have a bacon butty and added a banana each. Helped us find a restaurant for the evening as, sadly the hotel restaurant closed on Sunday. The Studio room was actually an apartment and had everything you could wish for - views, space, clean and comfortable. It was, in comparison to many hotels, very cheap too - especially for a bank holiday

An overnight stay for a visit to the theatre in this conveniently situated hotel was deemed perfect. Unfortunately the car park was rammed, due to a wedding and an additional event and parking was non-existent, and our room, whilst spacious, had no outlook and the bathroom sorely needed an upgrade. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Having stayed here previously, we were a little disappointed that we were offered such a mediocre room. Probably won't bother to book here again.

The hotel is a charming place in a very nice location, with great access to the Malvern Hills. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, with a good choice of warm breakfasts and continental breakfast. The hotel restaurant is particularly good and I would recommend it for dinner. Parking facilities are great.
