Family run hotel that takes pride in their establishment. My room was well appointed with lots of extra touches. The bathroom was modern and worked perfectly (many do not!) Had a great dinner in the hotel with friends the night of my stay. The hotel had booked our table in advance and was set and ready for us. Excellent cooked to order breakfast included in the price. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had in the UK. Parked my car in their car park. Hotel is conveniently located in the middle of a very pleasant and historical town

Stunning part of the UK with something for everyone, whether it be history, nature, good food and/or amenities. I hiked the full length of the hills along every ridge from End Hill and returned via the woods. In all it was 11.5 miles from and back to my accommodation. There are a couple of places with WC facilities and pit-stops. Breathtaking views and beautiful scenery. I had the pleasure of witnessing sheep-shearing by local friendly farmers who assisted me on my route. The previous day I did a circular around British Camp Iron Age Fort. Good parking and another beautiful walk.

Great Malvern is a charming town in a marvellous setting (below the Malvern Hills). Also, being on the national rail network, it is a convenient base from which to visit neighbouring towns such as Hereford, Ledbury and Birmingham.

It's called the Malvern Hills & the main street is steep.

It's called the Malvern Hills & the main street is steep. However with so many places to eat, interesting shops, an impressive theatre & beautiful scenery, it's a national treasure. Walking the hills is quite spiritual, and something everyone should experience. Also it boasts two main line stations if you can tear yourself away.

Malvern has a fantastic park, nice restaurants and we really enjoyed the craft beer bar - Weavers. The theatre and park are great but the cafe there is expensice. I suggest buying a picnic from Waitrose and eating it in the park - the play area in the park is all wood adventures. Another plus is the Foley Arms - best Wetherspoons in the world, honest. Best kept beer cellar though is the Great Malvern Hotel.

Location - near the beginning of the path up to Worcesteshire Beacon and lots of good shops and Waitrose. They have parking right next to the hotel. Had a twin room which was large and with a large bathroom with a bath. The breakfast was good - quality ingredients, a real choice of full English but also bagels with smoked salmon, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce etc. Good quality comfortable mattress and bedding. Two Indian restaurants very close by! Very happy with our stay.

The staff were lovely, the hotel has a very attractive bar and restaurant area and its location is extremely convenient in the centre of Great Malvern, directly above the Abbey, with amazing views and parking available for guests. The hotel is also next to one of many lovely green spaces, with the steps to the famous St Anne's Well starting from there.

The location of the hotel is great for us when we’re visiting family in Colwall - it’s super handy to the train station too, and there’s plenty of parking on site. The bedrooms are nicely decorated, complimentary bottles of water are a nice touch, and the staff are helpful. We love the pub and the garden area too.
