This area is an absolute gem if you are looking to...
This area is an absolute gem if you are looking to experience Skye without the tourists. There is incredible scenery, Highland coos, plenty of walks, and always some fresh eggs to purchase from one of the honesty boxes. There also happens to be a Michelin starred restaurant down the road, with a tasting menu that takes you right into waters of the surrounding bay. It was divine. BUT be sure to book in advance! A stop at the little local gallery is also a must if you are keen on art and supporting local, as well as Skye Skyns if you are on the hunt for ethically sourced cow/sheep/deer skin rugs or clothing.Guest review byCJCopeUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Good location for walks and to reach some popular...
Good location for walks and to reach some popular attractions of Skye. Dunvegan is nearby (9 miles) with its castle, a few pubs and shops. Portree is about 30 min drive as well. Coral beach, Dunvegan, Talisker, Fairy pools and old man of stor are all within 20-30 min drive and easily accessible from Hallin.
