The views from Inverary are exceptional.
The views from Inverary are exceptional. The residents of the town are very friendly If you want to unwind, slow down your pace of life, find real peace and relaxation then Inverary would be an excellent choice to visit. We ate an evening meal from the local fish and chip restuarant and sat looking down the loch enjoying it. Walking around Inverary is easy . Inveraray Jail, was amazing to see what jail life was like n the 1600s Very first item we saw was a man who stole 2 horses, and a cheese he was hung for his crime, couldn't stop thinking about it all day.. Really need to see it for yourself to understand how bad life was back then. Inveraray Castle was beautiful and so interesting, had a lovely tea outside before looking round the gardens and walking through the grounds. A pleasant small town with a beautiful outlook over Loch Fyne. The consistent white facade of buildings added to the aesthetic appeal. The tour de force is the castle. This has a very interesting interior with weapons displays, everything is well kept. Really enjoyed our stay in Inveraray .It is a great place to walk around and the views are super .A nice historic wee town .Its very dog friendly too which was important for us .The Inveraray Inn hotel where we were staying is brilliant and the food was superb .We will definitely be back .Guest review byAnonymous

Entry was exactly as described and with no issues. Kitchen was spotless and well equipped. As was the bathroom with its massive shower !!. A quick walk round Inveraray and you'll be met with stunning views in any direction. Shops are right on the doorstep, as are places to east and drink. The George Hotel beer garden is a great place to watch the world go by, Brambles cafe does the most amazing and tasty breakfasts. The host is very accommodating, too, and nothing is too much trouble for her. Breakfast is wholesome and hearty and sets you up for the day. Maggie was very understanding when my journey was many hours behind schedule and did everything possible to reassure me I could get into my room with excellent communication updates.
