    We were only there for a couple of days.

    We were only there for a couple of days. But we found a couple of really nice places to eat. A small polish restaurant called Folklore House, if you love large portions this is the place for you. And an excellent small French Restaurant called Eleven. Fantastic food.

    On this occasion, I was staying just one night (solo), in order to deliver a Workshop at the Aviva Bowls England National Finals. HOWEVER, my wife and I have stayed in Leamington on numerous occasions in the past and it is a really great place to base yourself for a holiday exploring the local countryside and tourist attractions. Within easy reach are Warwick and Coventry, along with other, ever-popular spots such as Shakespeare country, river trips on the Avon from Stratford (and other locations), etc., etc. There are numerous eateries in Leamington - from McDonalds and Wetherspoons to higher-end British, Asian, European and other cuisines. What's not to like about Leamington?

    This is a ideal location since Kenilworth Castle to the north, Warwick castle and Shakespeare's Birthplace to the south can be easily reached by driving. Plus the Victoria park is an enjoyable place to walk around.

    It's a lovely town, very well kept, clean and with plenty to see and do. There are a multitude of cafes and restaurants. You don't need a car to get around and you'll certainly see more by walking

    Leamington Spa is a beautiful place, plenty restaraunts, shops, good retail park near the Holiday Inn at Olympus Avenue. Historic buildings of the pump rooms. Jepson Gardens, great wedding venue! The Terrace opposite the gardens is a great place to visit, the decor and staff excellent!!

    Staff were nice and helpful; breakfast, the shower and available soap was fine. hair dryer was available. bedding and towels were clean. I was able to leave my suitcase for an extra day upon request. room smelled musty but not bad. close to train station and a five minute walk to parks and restaurants. price was cheaper than all other hotels with comparative amenities and images. Now I know why.

    Comfortable room up in the eaves. Continental breakfast with plenty of choices offered including yogurt drinks, fresh fruit and variety of spreads eg peanut butter, nutella and marmite as well as traditional jams and marmalade. All continually replenished. Small car park available which was also great in Leamington Spa and hotel is within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops.
