Hosts were communicative, kind, approachable and responsive. The space itself is well-kept and tidy, bright with lots of natural light. The blackout blinds were great to have at night. Located on a quiet side street meant no noise overall, and certainly not in the evenings. The kitchen had all the essentials I needed. Their listing description is accurate. It was also nice to have a hairdryer. Wifi was great connection with no problems at all. Always had hot water in the bathroom. Lovely to have some outdoor seating to savour tea on. It’s a great spot for a quiet getaway for one person or a couple. I very rarely write reviews, only when an accommodation is exceptional (in this case!) or abysmal (which it is definitely not!)

It was quiet and peaceful, and considering it's a working farm, all very relaxed. But then it is Cornwall! The bed was really comfortable and the shower was always hot.

Exceeds expectation. The facilities were excellsnt, the service was way beyond expected and the breakfast was both special and satisfying. The place itself is on the Camel Trail, which suffices great adventure, nature, sightseeing and history. Likewise, the hotel.itself is right by the museum with a lot of historical, not to mention architectual value. The town itself is a way to experience countryside britain, with a nice pub, park and houses. If you want good restaurant, take your bike through the Camel Trail to wadebridge. Best to come when the whether is a little rainly.but not too cold.

    Lostwithiel is a lovely, old stannary town with historic buildings, a number of good restaurants/pubs/take-aways, a grocery co-op, fascinating museum, small shops, and cafes. There is a lovely walk along the river to a beautiful, old stone bridge. Park in the free parking lot. The Lostwithiel Festival in May is great fun with lots of good food and drink. Lostwithiel is centrally located for many great places to visit and activities, festivals, etc. in Cornwall.

    We loved this Bed and Breakfast.

    We loved this Bed and Breakfast. It was top notch, yet comfortable and welcoming. There were six of us in our group and everyone felt the same way. We ate dinner at the Old Globe Inn. It was also excellent. Both places easily accommodated the dietary restrictions of one person in our group.

    Lostwithiel is in a good position for day trips to other parts of Cornwall. Favourite restaurant was Sam’s fish restaurant in Fowey. Duchy Nursery 1.5 miles from Chy Bowdner cottage & walk from there to Restomel Castle worth a visit

    Lots of shops and restaurant very quiet over Christmas and facilities shut. However, before and after Christmas hols very interesting with lots of restaurants and little shops. Church offered Midnight Mass. We booked for Duchy of Cornwall restaurant for all our lunches, which was fabulous as well as shop full of Bungalow items and garden plants and pots etc Christmas gifts galore! . Booked for Christmas Lunch at Michell's in Polperro, lovely Pate and Christmas pudding was light and lovely, this restaurant was only 20 mins away by car with car parking. Lostwithiel has lots of lovely country side with many places to walk and explore. We intend to revisit.

    Pictuesque old town once you turn off the main road.

    Pictuesque old town once you turn off the main road. However, be aware many of the roads are very narrow and some are very steep. Some junctions are impossible to drive around, so dont trust your satnav!

    A welcoming host, everything was just right: the kitchen, the bathroom, also colourwise everything was coordinated bathtube, tiles, towels ecc.; nice books were available. Lostwithiel has akso an interesting story; the nearby castle is very interesting and offers a nice 20' walk

    Stayed at this lovely little family-run hotel and absolutely loved it! The rooms are super spacious and comfy - perfect for just kicking back and relaxing. The view from the window is beautiful and calming. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, they really make you feel at home. Totally recommend if you want a cozy, personal spot with great service.

    Everything about the accommodation was good, it had everything we needed, the location was ideal, it had beautiful rural views, all our needs were met & the host, Jamie was so nice & helpful, we wouldn't hesitate to return. The walk into nearby Lostwithiel was pleasant & easy, a great base to explore the area & beyond.

    Setting was lovely and convenient for Lostwithiel, St Austell and Fowey. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Wifi has great connectivity and bandwidth It was great to have tea and coffee making facilities including milk in the fridge on arrival.

    We loved the location in the centre of Lostwithiel. Easy to find & park. The reception staff member was friendly & helpful. We had a dog friendly room which was perfect. The treats, bowl & towel, etc., was appreciated.
