Breakfast was served in the breakfast room and it was lovely to be served. The building was very old and quirky but was well maintained and the rooms were large and decorated tastefully, There is a beautiful courtyard out the back overlooking the countryside where we had drinks before going inside to have some dinner. You can also sit out the front and watch the world go by. Car parking is out the back by the courtyard. Lizzy was a great hostess and was able to answer all my husbands questions about the hotel. My husband and I loved this hotel.

Amazing time at the follies. Natalie and her husband were very welcoming and helpful even treated me to a bottle of Vino. They left us to it the whole weekend, it felt private and so relaxed. Facilities were lovely and clean, the bed was super comfortable. They provided everything we needed other than food and drinks. We had a pit fire every night and a bean bag to snuggle up on by the fire. I would 100% return, next time with My kids and dog!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely amazing, very clean, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The bed was super comfy, and we slept so well.     I really appreciated the peaceful and scenic location—surrounded by nature, it was the perfect place to unwind. The cottage had a cosy, homely feel with thoughtful touches that made the stay comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the outdoor space was a lovely bonus for enjoying the fresh air.

    We have had contact with Marden for many years for visiting...

    We have had contact with Marden for many years for visiting family, hence our stay. The village is nice with shops, pubs, takeaways, church, library, nice places to eat Tandoori is excellent . There is a railway station with trains to London, and other places in between. Bus service also not many a day but useable. Nearest main shops are Maidstone, Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells and not too far to get to the coast, or places to visit - castles, country parks etc
