The bridge, of course is the highlight, it is a really attractive feature - probably the most attractive bridge I have ever encountered. Pretty town on the Menai Strait with lots of historical interest (the Telford Menai suspension bridge, the Victorian Britannia railway bridge). Lovely views across the water. Great pubs and restaurants available, particularly Dylan’s (a small North Walian chain with local produce) and The Freckled Angel. Easy to get around on foot. We visited Plas Newydd (NT), Newborough Forest, Rhos Neigra, South Stacks (RSPB) and Beaumaris. Menai is just at the tip of the island and just over the beautiful bridge, a sight you will never get tired of. Everything is easily drivable, lovely beaches, you are spoilt for choice. We rung the hotel and they managed to direct us to their car park. Staff was very accommodating, they have always managed to find a table for us for dinner. Great choice of food and drinks for dinner and breakfast as well. Bathroom was beautiful with nice toiletries and good shower. Very serene setting, peaceful and quiet.
