Chose Moffat as a mid point stay on our from the East of England to the Isle of Skye and it was a perfect location. Moffat has a good mix of shops and pubs, we ate at the bull which was very nice. Moffat is a lovely town.

I particularly liked the spacious shower in the room, the lovely linen for the bed and bathroom, the evening meal and the breakfast. There is a nice garden where we could bring the dog and Moffat is a good place to break the journey from Scotland to England.
